My life is flying by!!

My life has gone by way too fast the past couple months. I've had so many great times and now i have finally gotten a chance to share them with all of you. I am currently focused on becoming a better photographer. It makes it so much easier when you have so many wonderful people surrounding you and supporting you in everything you venture on to. I thank you all for inspiring me everyday. It also helps when you are given the gifts of an awesome Nikon DSLR and four great lenses.

So here goes...

April:
Dann and I traveled to Colorado for a short climbing trip. We hit the rocks at the Horse Tooth Reservoir in Fort Collins the first day (John Gill Classics!!), Rocky Mountain National Park on day two, Carter Lake, and Garden of the Gods on day three. I have posted a couple favorites from the trip so check them out.

May:
May was crunch time for getting the last details done for our wedding on the 24th. I did manage to make it to my niece and nephew's (Bianca & Logan Zeigler) confirmation down in Maryland on the 18th.

We had a spectacular time with everyone at the wedding and it can all be re-lived online as our magnificent photographer, David Toth (www.davidtothphotography.com), put together a tear-jerker of a slide show so check it out at:

He is a very talented photographer and I recommend him very highly for everyone getting married.

Following the wedding, Dann and I headed on our honeymoon to the beaches of Barbados down in the Carribbean. Check out some of my favorite photos from our trip. It was a really awesome trip as we got to surf a couple days, play some golf (Dann managed to cream a couple houses in some of the more narrow parts of the course which made for a very hilarious afternoon), boogie board and just rejuvenate after working so hard to make sure our wedding was going to be a memorable one for everybody.

June:
After a very relaxing and fun honeymoon it was time to get my Mom transplanted to Austin, Texas for her new life in the restaurant business. It was a feat and a half to drive her down there but we made it safely and got her all settled in. It was also great to catch up with the Kettler family as well. Take a look!

Kettler Garden Photographs.....yes it is possible to have beautiful flowers in hot Texas but it won't happen on its own...you have to work at it. Thanks for the beautiful, colorful subjects girls!

I had a surprise on Friday night the 27th as my brother, Dustin, showed up at my work place, The Delaware Rock Gym, in Bear, DE (www.derockgym.com). Dustin has been living in Guam for the past 9 months with his family, Katie and Noah. It was a like dream with him standing there in front of me. I missed him very much and it was so awesome to hang out with him again, though the weekend went way too fast.
My cousin, Jo Garman, just happened to plan a Zeigler Family Reunion on Sunday, June 29th and so Dustin was able to come with Dann and I and surprise the whole family. It was really special to all be together for even those couple hours. Here are some of my favorite shots from that weekend.
